Description | Contains details regarding the division of the County into twenty districts, comprising towns and parishes, the names of appointed Commissioners and the numbers of men raised (this division starts at the end of the preceding volume AS/Amil/2/1). For this round, 104 men were to be raised for service in Colonel Leighton's Regiment of Foot. Also includes information regarding certain individuals drawn by ballot, such as age, height, occupation and marital status. To be found fit to serve, the men had to be aged between 17-45, not "known papists", not under 5’4” and "free of Ruptures or any other Distemper, bodily weakness or infirmity". By 26th December 1757, they were 32 men short; and by February 1758 they were at least 20 men short.
