Some sections indexed at front of volume: Pages 1-2 cover ordinary enrollments, page 11 supplementary and pages 23-24 army of reserve (all c. 1803). Sections not included in the index are: pages 4-10 and 12-12 is the "New Militia" enrolled in 1807, 1814-1817, 1820-1821, 1825-1827 and 1831; pages 25-28 the Local Militia dated 1809-10; pages 29-32, 34-36 the Local Militia dated 1813; and page 33 "Ordinary Militia" dated 1810-1812.
At the top of the first page the quota for the district (65) is divided between the parishes: Logie Durno 8, Daviot 5, Inverury, 5, Keithhall & Kinkell 6, Kemnay, 3, Kinnellar 2, Kintore 5, Meldrum 9, Monymusk 7, Oyne 4, Premnay 3, Rayne 8.
