| Administrative History | Established by Trust Disposition of William Milne, hardware merchant, Galashiels, dated 5 May 1905, by which a legacy of £1,000 was left to Banff Town Council, the interest to be used for the purchase of coals and other necessaries for the poor of the Town of Banff not in receipt of Parish monies. An identical legacy was also left to the Burgh of Macduff. |
