Description | Granting the provost, baillies, councillors and community of the Burgh complete power of disposition, authority and special entitlement to the Burgh lands, estates, fisheries etc exclusively to the inhabitants of the Burgh, rent for these lands to be paid to the Burgh for the common weal and rent to increase when the leasehold is transferred to another party; the Provost, Bailies, Councillors and Community of the Burgh to select commissioners for renting and leasing the properties on behalf of the Burgh. Those to whom feued properties are granted and their heirs are permitted to transfer and sell the properties only to male burghers of Banff or to merchants actually resident there.
