Each minute includes a list of heritors and burgesses present and absent; a statement of proportion of cess to be borne by heritage, trade and merchandise, and by Incorporated Traders; and statements of projected expenditure. The minutes also include minutes of the committee appointed to consider the state of the Burgh Assessments. Dated 8 Dec 1838 - 19 Jan 1839. The Head Court of 31 May 1851 was called by the Managers appointed by the Court of Session to administer the affairs of the Burgh.
