| Administrative History | Pitmedden Special Drainage and Water Supply District was set up in 1937, and three years later a Special Scavenging District was set up on the same boundaries.
In 1949 it was extended and adopted into the county system.
In the same year, a Special Lighting District was considered and formed, which was adopted into the county system in 1968 along with the drainage district. |
