| Administrative History | Bridge of Don Special Scavenging District was formed in 1934, as part of Old Machar Parish. It was extended in 1938, in the same year that a Special Lighting District was also formed.
The Special Scavenging District was adopted into the county system in 1949. Both the Special Lighting District and a special Drainage District covering the area were adopted into the county systems in 1968. |
