| Administrative History | A Special Water Supply and Drainage District was set up in Elrick, in the parish of Skene, in 1937. The remaining drainage functions were taken over by the county council in 1968, at the same time as the lighting functions. A Special Scavenging District was formed in 1949 and immediately adopted into the county system. |
