| Administrative History | Up to the local government changes of 1929, Banff District comprised the parishes of Banff, Boyndie, Forglen, Marnoch, Ordiquhill, Fordyce, Deskford, Cullen, Rathven, Bellie, and part of Alvah. After 1929, Marnoch, Forglen and Ordiquhill moved to Aberchirder; Banff held on to Banff, Alvah, Boyndie, and Gamrie. Buckie District took Rathven. Cullen took Fordyce, Cullen and Deskford. |
