| Administrative History | The formation of Nigg Special Drainage District was debated in 1930, and boundaries were proposed and modified. However, nothing was firmly decided, and the County Council was still waiting in 1931 to see if Aberdeen City would take over the area. The following year it was described as still in urgent need of sewers, but nothing was done until it was eventually taken over by Aberdeen City in 1935. A Special Drainage District for the remainder of Nigg parish was proposed 1961, and a Special Lighting District was proposed and approved in 1966. |
