| Administrative History | Portlethen Hillside Special Scavenging District was proposed by the Local Committee on Public Health in 1947, in connexion with a new county refuse scheme. There was a delay with a proposed drainage scheme, as it turned out to be more expensive than estimated. The Special Scavenging District was dissolved in 1961 as its services were taken over by the new County scheme. |
