| Administrative History | Portlethen Station Special Drainage District was set up in 1946 with a government grant under the Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Act, 1944. It was extended in 1967. A Special Scavenging District was dissolved in 1961 as its services were taken over by the new County refuse scheme. In 1972, a Special Lighting District was proposed and approved, and was extended the following year. |
