| Administrative History | Silverbank Special Drainage District, in the parish of Banchory-Ternan, was proposed and approved in 1952. In 1954, a Special Scavenging District and a Special Lighting District were both set up: the cost of installing lighting was £351 18/5d. The Special Drainage District was extended in 1961, and the Special Lighting District in 1968. In 1973, the Special Drainage District set up joint sewage works with Banchory Burgh. |
