The Council agreed to pay £70 out of several funds for the relief of the poor, to the Managers of the Poor's Hospital for the year ending Candlemas 1807. The Council elected Directors and Managers of the Poor's Hospital: the Provost, magistrates and other members of the Town Council; Baillies Thomas McCombie, George Tower and William Littlejohn; Bishop Skinner, Rev Mr Bryce, Rev Mr Doig; Sir Alexander Bannerman, Doctors Alexander Robertson, William Livingston, George French, William Dyce, James Moir and Charles Skene; Mr William Fiddler; Mr Henderson of Caskieben; Mr Niven of Thornton; Mr Martin of Nellfield; Messrs Thomas Bannerman, James Davidson, Robert Lamb and Charles Walker, merchants; Alexander Carnegie, Town Clerk; Dr Dauney; Convener Thomson and Convener Leslie. The Council granted the application from Mr James Gibbon, as one of the partners of the Whale Fishing Company, requesting another year's possession of the ground at Footdee, on which the Company's boil houses were erected, at the same rent of £30. The Council resolved to consider letting the ground by public roup from 1 June 1807. (229r - 229v)

The Council approved the report of the committee appointed on 29 October 1805 to consider the terms of sale of the feu duties and superiority of the Lands of Leddach in the Parish of Skene, following an offer to purchase them by Alexander Crombie, advocate, feuar of the Lands of Leddach. The Council authorised the magistrates to expose the feu duties and superiority of the Lands of Leddach to public roup on the terms agreed with Mr Crombie, and at the same time, to expose to roup the following superiorities: superiorities of the Lands of Easter Kinmundy, Wester Kinmundy, Blackhills, Easter Kirktown, Fiddy, Ord and Lochside, in the Parish of Skene, belonging to the Dean of Guild; and superiorities of the Lands of South Kinmundy, North Kinmundy and Boddoms, in the Parish of New Machar, belonging to the Master of the Guild Brethren's Hospital. The Council considered the report by the committee appointed to examine the application from Mr William Forbes to purchase the feu duties, superiority and reserved right of quarries on his Lands of Springhill and Springfield, and the feu duty of the ground at Footdee on which his ropework was partly erected. The report recommended the feu duties, superiority and reserved right of quarries be sold to Mr Forbes for £450 3 shillings 4 pence, but the Council recommended to the magistrates to expose the feu duties and superiority to public roup. The Council also authorised the magistrates to expose to public sale a feu of the site and building of the Old Windmill, and a feu of a piece of barren ground between Springfield and Hazlehead, mentioned in Mr Forbes' application. The Council postponed to a future meeting, consideration of a proposal to erect a dyke between the Town's property in the Links and the grounds belonging to private individuals, in order to prevent encroachments. (230v)
