The Council elected George More of Raeden, Dr Alexander Dauney, advocate in Aberdeen and Baillie William Shepherd and John Garioch, merchants in Aberdeen, to be Commissioners for the Council until Michaelmas 1803, who were charged, along with four Commissioners elected by the freeholders of Aberdeenshire, with building and maintaining a House of Correction or Bridewell, in accordance with the Act of Parliament passed on 8 May 1802. The Council remitted to a committee of the magistrates, the Dean of Guild and the Treasurer, or any three of them, the letter of 9 July 1802 from Mr Alexander Crombie concerning the bridge over the Denburn and the new road through the Craigwell Croft. (90v)

The Council resolved to terminate the lease for nineteen years granted at Martinmas 1795 to James Gibbon, shipmaster in Aberdeen, of a piece of ground within the flood mark adjacent to his building yard in the Links, in order to use the ground for harbour improvements. (90v - 91r)

The Council remitted to a committee of the magistrates, the Dean of Guild and the Treasurer, or any three of them, consideration of the petition from the Professors of King's College proposing a new road from the Skene Road to Lands of Bogfairlie, in place of another road through the Lands of Shetocksley. (91r)
