The Council authorised the Treasurer to borrow the following sums of money for public purposes, particularly for formation of the new streets from the south and north to Castle Street:
Mr Watt, surgeon, Old Deer - £3,000
The Kirk Session of Aberdeen - £500
The Society of Advocates in Aberdeen - £550
The Incorporation of Wrights and Coopers - £330
Helen Davidson, widow of Alexander Duncan, horse hirer in Aberdeen - £100
The Society of White Fishers in Cove - £120
Alexander Henderson in Kingswells - £100
Andrew Keith, shoemaker in Aberdeen - £100
Jean Fiddes, milliner in Aberdeen - £100
Dr Andrew Henderson, in addition [to the sum already borrowed] - £70
James Hyde of Honduras, in addition [to the sum already borrowed] - £50
Jean Webster, in liferent, and Susan Innes, her daughter, in fee - £40

The Council authorised the Shoremaster to borrow sums of money for his charge, and to grant bonds to the following, for payment on 20 December 1803, at five per cent interest:
Adam Wilson, factor for the Trustees of the late George Wilson of Glasgowego - £1,000
Alexander Forbes, white fisher in Torrie - £100
The Kirk Session of Nigg - £60

The Council authorised the Treasurer to grant a bond for £1,000 to the Managers of the United Coal Fund, with interest from 20 June 1802; and to grant a bond for £1,000 to the Managers of the Poor's Hospital, with interest from 20 December 1802. (104r)
