The Council resolved to contribute the sum of 100 guineas from the Bridge Funds in aid of the fund for the relief of the distressed Russian people following the invasion of Russia by France. (251r)

The Council approved of the magistrates' proposal to advertise the leases of the Town's four Common Mills separately, in order to increase the revenue from them. (251r)

The Council admitted the following to vacant bursaries at Marischal College upon the Faculty's recommendations; William Duncan, student in the magistrand class and Fortesque Cockerill, student in the same class to one of Dr Duncan Liddel's bursaries of £5 in place of James and William Gordon, sons of the late rev Dr Gordon, who have both left the College.
