| Description | Council meeting, 10 April 1813 [Sederunt given] Upon consideration of the proposal of Messrs Cranstoun and Veitch, agents for the Council in the action of reduction of the leases of the Harbour and Weigh House Dues at present pending before the Court of Session against Messrs George and Alexander More, suggesting the propriety of raising a supplementary summons of reduction of the leases of the Ballast Lighters taken by the said Alexander More in 1808, the Council resolved not to enter into any additional litigation for fear it delay the action in hand.
