The Council elected the following thirteen Burgesses to be members of the new Council for the year 1807 to 1808: Charles Farquharson, William Lumsden, John Catto, Alexander More, Alexander Galen, William Johnston, John Forbes, George Thomson, James Young junior, John Young, Alexander Pirie, Alexander Low and George Storey, all merchants in Aberdeen. (36r - 36v)

The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to serve on the new Council: Alexander Brebner, Provost George More, Baillie Thomas McCombie and Baillie George Tower. (36v)

The Council elected Deacon John Leith, coppersmith, and Deacon David Reid, wright, to be Trades councillors. (36v)

The old and new Council, with the Convener and Deacons of Crafts (except William Lumsden, Alexander Pirie and John Catto of the new Council, in place of whom the Council elected William Paterson, Patrick Barron and William Mortimer, Burgesses of Guild, as assistants), elected the following office bearers for the year 1807 to 1808:
George More - Provost
Charles Farquharson - Eldest Baillie
Alexander Galen - Second Baillie
Thomas McCombie - Third Baillie
George Tower - Youngest Baillie
James Young junior - Dean of Guild
Alexander Pirie - Treasurer
George Storey - Shoremaster
Alexander Low - Master of Kirk and Bridge Works
John Catto - Master of Mortifications
John Forbes - Master of the Guild Brethren's Hospital
All being present except Alexander Pirie and John Catto. (36v - 37r)

The Council elected Provost More, Baillie McCombie and Baillie Tower to be Keepers of the Keys of the Town's Charter Chest for the year 1807 to 1808. (37r)

The Council elected for the year 1807 to 1808 the Provost, the four Baillies, Provost Brebner, the Dean of Guild, Baillie Lumsden, Alexander More and George Thomson, to be Commissioners of Infeftments; and the same gentlemen with the two Trades councillors as Auditors of the Town's Accounts. (37r - 37v)

On the motion of Baillie Shepherd, the Clerk reread the vote of thanks accorded Provost Brebner at the meeting on 22 September 1807, before the old and new Councils. (37v)
