DescriptionCouncil meeting, 29 April 1808
[Sederunt given]
The Council resolved to oppose the Parliamentary Bill brought by the Lord Advocate which proposed that the right to register deeds and other writings in the books of the Royal Burghs be transfered to the Sheriff and Stewart Clerks.
