The Council approved the sale by public roup of the Pack House and Weigh House Dues to Mr Alexander More, merchant, for a period of one year, for the sum of £132. (66v - 67r)

The Council made its annual Perambulation of the Inner Marches which were found to be clear although the following recommendations were made; the refuse drain from the Slaughter Market along the north side of Bowl Road was considered offensive and was ordered to be covered at the expense of the Flesher Trade and local proprietors; George Turreff, Town Sergeant was instructed to ensure that a March Stone at the south- east corner of the rig on the north side of Garvock's Wynd, belonging to the Huxter Society, was replaced by John Roy, tenant of the ground; the east end of Links Street, opened by Mr Forbes of Echt, was ordered shut by a turnstile to prevent carriages passing by it into the Links and damaging the grass; considerable quantities of wood was found to have been laid on ground at Poynernook, intended as a bleach green - the names of those responsible were to be collected in order that rent be paid. (67r - 67v)

The Council made its annual Visitation of the Bridge of Dee and the Bridge of Don and reported on their state. It was observed that part of the parapet walls on the Bridge of Dee needed repairs, pointing was required, and some of the joints near the foundation were in want of leading. It was observed that some of the tops of the parapets of the Bridge of Don, along with parts of the harling, required repairs, some of the iron bands at the foundation needed replacing, and some of the joints there were in want of leading. The Council authorised Mr Low, Master of the Kirk and Bridge Works, to effect the necessary repairs. (67v - 68r)

The Council granted the petition from George Freeman, Pilot Master within the Harbour, for an alteration of the dues on ships between forty and sixty tons to 1 shilling instead of 6 pence. They further resolved to charge 1 shilling for all vessels between forty and 120 tons. (68r - 68v)

The Council rejected the petition from William Gall, farmer in Glenbucket, to open a door from the rear of his house in Upperkirkgate into Drum's Lane, following a committee report on the subject. (68v)

The Council authorised the Treasurer to enter into an agreement with Mr William Forbes for the extension of his ropeworks into the Links, and to issue a lease for seven years from Whitsunday 1807 at an annual rent of £5. (68v)

The Provost laid before the Council a letter from Viscount Lord Cathcart in answer to the memorial transmitted him relating to the removal of the guns from the Battery [letter engrossed]. (68v - 69v)

The Council remitted to the magistrates and Dean of Guild to grant interim assistance to James Clerk, writer in Aberdeen, son of John Clerk, advocate and Burgess of Guild, following a petition from the former. (69v)
