The Council elected the following thirteen Burgesses to be members of the new Council for the year 1809 to 1810: Alexander More, John Young, James Young junior, John Catto, Thomas McCombie, William Johnston, John Forbes, George Thomson, Alexander Pirie, Alexander Low, Joseph Hogarth, George Storey and George Tower, all merchants in Aberdeen. The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to serve on the new Council: Provost George More, Baillie William Shepherd, Baillie Robert Garden and Provost James Hadden. (116v)

The Council elected Deacon Thomas Roger, coppersmith and Deacon William Walker, baker, to be Trades councillors. (116v)

The old and new Council, with the Convener and Deacons of Crafts (except Robert Tower and Robert Jameson of the old Council, both of whom had died since Michaelmas 1808, and Mr George Hogarth of the old Council, and George Tower, Alexander Pirie and George Thomson of the new Council, in place of whom the Council elected Patrick Barron, David Thom, George Ronald, James Bowman, William Naughten, John Bruce and John Pittendrigh, Burgesses of Guild, as assistants), elected the folowing office bearers for the year 1809 to 1810:
James Hadden - Provost
William Shepherd - Eldest Baillie
Robert Garden - Second Baillie
Thomas McCombie - Third Baillie
George Tower - Fourth Baillie
Alexander Pirie - Dean of Guild
George Storey - Treasurer
Alexander Low - Shoremaster
John Catto - Master of Kirk and Bridge Works
John Forbes - Master of Mortifications
Joseph Hogarth - Master of the Guild Brethren's Hospital

The Council elected the Provost, Baillie Garden and Baillie McCombie to be Keepers of the Keys of the Town's Charter Chest for the year 1809 to 1810. (117r)

The Council elected for the year 1809 to 1810 the Provost, four Baillies, Dean of Guild, Provost More, Mr Alexander More, Mr John Young and Mr James Young junior to be Commissioners of Infeftments; and the same gentlemen with the two Trades councillors to be Auditors of the Town's Accounts.
