The Council elected the following to act as Commissioners on the Council's part for the erection of a Bridewell in accordance with the Act of Parliament 42 GEO.III: Baillie William Shepherd, Baillie Alexander Galen, William Forbes of Echt and Charles Walker, merchant, all Burgesses. (117v - 118r) |
