The Council remitted to a committee of the magistrates, or any three of them, the sale by public roup of the leases of the Bell and Petty Customs, the Town's Mills and the ground in the Links and on the east side of the Pocra Road, held by Catto, Thomson & Company and John Catto, due to expire on 1 June 1810. The Council approved the draft of a bill for an Act of Parliament for extending the term, increasing the rates and duties, and altering and enlarging the powers and provisions of the current Acts for the Improvement of the Harbour of Aberdeen, and authorised the committe responsible to have the bill introduced to Parliament.
