The Council agreed to the purchase of properties in the line of the new street. Namely, tenements on the south side of Upperkirkgate and the west side of Dubbierow from Mrs Birse, wife of Thomas Birse, surgeon in Brechin, for the sum of £500; tenements at the foot of Carnegie's Brae liferented by John Davidson, advocate, from the heirs of Thomas Ferguson for the sum of £420. (13v)

William Copland, advocate in Aberdeen, was appointed to continue in the office of Collector of Taxation for the City of Aberdeen. Sureties were offered by George More of Raeden and Alexander More, merchant in Aberdeen. (14r)

The Council remitted to the Police Board a petition by the inhabitants of Carmelite Street concerning the Police dunghills near Messrs Young & Walker's factory at Pynernook. (14r - 14v)

The Council resolved to present an address to King George III in support of his defence of the Protestant religion [address engrossed]. (14v - 15r)

William Coulter Esq, merchant and Dean of Guild of the City of Edinburgh, was elected to represent the City of Aberdeen as its Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh on 21 May 1807. (15r - 16r)
