The Council admitted the following to bursaries of four years duration at Marischal College. James Brebner, son of the late Alexander Brebner, shipmaster in Aberdeen, awarded one of Mr James Cargill's bursaries of £7. Thomas Bisset, son of the late George Bisset, schoolmaster at Udny awarded John Turner's bursary of £5. Benjamin Spark, son of Thomas Spark, merchant and Burgess of Guild of Aberdeen awarded one of Katharine Rolland's bursaries of £8. Alexander Barrach, son of Alexander Barrack, innkeeper at Forfar, awarded John Fraser's bursary of £5. William Barnet, son of Alexander Barnet, Parish of Nigg, to Mr James Milne's bursary of £5. George Moir major, son of the late George Moir, hosier and Burgess of Guild of Aberdeen; Alexander William Chalmers, son of Samuel Chalmers, merchant and Burgess of Guild; each awarded one of Dr Duncan Liddel's bursaries of £5. Robert Lindsay, son of Alexander Lindsay, deceased, sometime tailor in Aberdeen, awarded Dr Alexander Ross' bursary of £5. George Smith, son of George Smith, glazier in Aberdeen and Trades Burgess, awarded Mr Robert Cumine's bursary of £5. (12v - 13r)

The Council appointed the Taxers and Stent Masters: Alexander Duncan junior and Alexander Brown, two of the present Baillies; George Storey, Dean of Guild, William Johnston, Treasurer, Gavin Hadden, John Young, James Young, Alexander Fraser, Charles Walker, Robert Walker, William Shepherd, John Catto, George Thomson, William Leslie, George Pirie, Robert Gibb and John Collison, merchants; David Hutcheon and William Kennedy, advocates; William Nicoll and William Gardener, the two Trades councillors. The Council directed the Taxers and Stent Masters to raise the following sums: £526 10 shillings for the King's Subsidy for the year Martinmas 1812 to Martinmas 1813; and the £1 17 shillings 5 pence 3/12 overspend by the Treasurer in the previous year.
