| Description | Council meeting, 1 March 1814 [Sederunt given] The Council resolved to meet on 7 March 1814 to elect a person to be Preacher of the Gospel in the College Church, in place of Professor George Glennie, who had been appointed as one of the Ministers in the West Church. (25r - 25v)
The Council awarded the following bursaries at Marischal College, on the recommendation of the Faculty of Marischal College. Alexander Low, student in the magistrand class, was awarded Turnerhall's bursary of £5, in place of William Westland, who had left the College. Alexander Hutchinson, student in the semi class, was awarded Mr James Cargill's bursary of £7, in place of Kenneth McKenzie, who had left the College. James Diack, student in the semi class, was awarded Mr Alexander Cruden's bursary of £5, in place of George Brebner, who had left the College. (25v) |
