The Council approved the report of the committee appointed to meet the committee of the Commutation Trustees of the Ninth or Aberdeen District to investigate the funds advanced by the Town to the Commutation Trustees for making two new roads from the Town towards the Bridge of Dee and the Bridge of Don. The committee reported that the funds totalled £2,183, including interest, and that the Trustees had agreed to pay £183, leaving £2,000 as a debt to be extinguished in future. (34r)

The Council elected James Hadden Esq, present Provost of Aberdeen, to be their Commissioner to the Convention of Royal Burghs to be held in Edinburgh on 2 July 1814, and elected Baillie Alexander Galen to be his Assessor. (34v)
