The Council elected the following thirteen Burgesses to be members of the new Council for the year 1815 to 1816: Mr William Leslie, Mr John Young, Mr Alexander Duncan junior, Mr Alexander Brown, Mr William Davidson, Mr Alexander Hadden, Mr William Johnston, Mr James Hadden junior, Mr James Dyce, Mr William Joss, Mr John Smith youngest, Mr Robert Duthie and Mr John Whyte, all merchants in Aberdeen. The Council elected the following four members of the old Council to be members of the new Council: Provost James Hadden, Baillie Robert Garden, Baillie Charles Walker and Mr Alexander Fraser. (60v)
The Council elected Deacon George Anderson junior, tailor, and Deacon William Marr, shoemaker, to be Trades councillors. (60v)
The Council (and William Cruickshank, George Gray, David Thom, William Mortimer and James Bowman, Burgesses of Guild, as Assistants) elected the following office bearers for the year 1815 to 1816:

Charles Walker - Second Baillie
Alexander Duncan junior - Third Baillie

William Johnston - Dean of Guild
John Young - Treasurer
Alexander Hadden - Master of Shoreworks
John Smith youngest - Master of Kirk and Bridge Works
William Joss - Master of Mortifications
John Whyte - Master of Guild Brethren's Hospital
