The Council postponed until 15 February 1817 consideration of a scheme prepared by Mr Read, Dean of Guild, for the best method of handling the heavy demands being made on the Treasury. (99r - 99v)
The Council approved the Provost's report that the Treasurer had borrowed the following sums of money, and had granted bonds to the following persons, for payment with one year's interest.
