The Council appointed the following as Assessors to George Storey Esq, Dean of Guild, for the year ending Michaelmas 1814: Alexander Galen and John Donald Esq, two of the present Baillies; James Young Esq, merchant and late Provost of Aberdeen; Alexander Fraser, late Dean of Guild of Aberdeen; Messrs Gavin Hadden, Robert Garden, Charles Walker, James Milne, John Smith the youngest, Robert Walker, William Davidson and Robert Duthie, all merchants in Aberdeen.
