William Masson, son of George Masson, Durris, was awarded one of James Milne's bursaries of £5. Robert Arthur Monro, son of Charles Monro, writer, Stonehaven, was awarded one of Mr John Fraser's bursaries of £5. John Jaffray, son of Alexander Jaffray, wright in Aberdeen; and John Bothwell, son of John Bothwell, candlemaker in Aberdeen; were each awarded one of Mr James Cargill's bursaries of £7. William Melville, son of Thomas Melville, plane maker, Aberdeen, was awarded one of Catharine Rolland's bursaries of £8. Marianus Massie, son of Marianus Massie, hosier in Aberdeen, was awarded one of Ross' bursaries of £6. Alexander Kilgour, son of Robert Kilgour, merchant, was awarded one of Dr Duncan Liddel's bursaries of £5. Alexander Daniel, son of George Daniel, merchant and Burgess of Guild, Aberdeen, was awarded one of Dr Duncan Liddel's bursaries of £5.
