The Council resolved to present a loyal address of condolence to His Majesty on the death of the Duke of York and Albany and Commander- in-Chief of the Land Forces, to be transmitted to the Right Honourable Robert Peel, His Majesty's Principal Secretary of State, for forwarding [address engrossed]. (190v - 192r)
The Council approved the sale by public roup in way of feu of two lots of ground, one on the south side of Union Street between Mr Gordon of Newton's property on the east and Crown Street on the west to [no name given] on behalf of William Black, merchant in Aberdeen, at 7 shillings per foot of front, the other on the west side of King Street being the corner stance on the north side of Meal Market Street [measurements given] to John Catto, meal seller in Aberdeen, at £22 10 shillings yearly feu duty. The Council resolved to support the petition to Parliament from Mr Henry Bell, engineer, for some remuneration for his application of steam power for the purpose of navigation. (192v - 193r)
The Council admitted three Burgesses of Guild. (193r)
The Council fixed 6 April 1827 to elect a Commissioner to attend the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland on 17 May 1827. (193r)
