| Description | COUNCIL REGISTER, VOLUME 71, FOLIO 41r Council meeting, 29 October 1823 [Sederunt given] The Council refused the application from Daniel McIntosh, blacksmith, to be admitted as a Craftsman, on account of his indenture not having been recorded in the Town's books by his master according to the regulations as laid out in the Act of Council in 1801. They recommended that the said Act of Council be annually brought to the attention of the members of the Trades so as to prevent their apprentices suffering the same hardship.
