James Grant, advocate in Aberdeen, was appointed to continue in the office of Collector of Taxation for the City of Aberdeen for the year 1824 to 1825 with an allowance of £50 for the expense of collecting and risk of bad debt. Sureties were offered by John Ramsay Esq of Barra and Francis Gordon Esq of Kincardine. (48r - 48v)
The Council admitted Alexander Thomson, surgeon, as a Burgess of Guild. (49r)
