| Description | COUNCIL REGISTER, VOLUME 71, FOLIOS 98r - 98v Council meeting, 29 January 1825 [Sederunt given] The Council empowered the Provost to subscribe a petition to the House of Commons for leave to construct a new bridge over the River Don. (98r - 98v) Upon the Faculty's recommendations of 26 February 1825, the Council admitted Robert Reid, student, to Milne's bursary of £5 at Marischal College for one year in place of John Anderson who has left the College, and James Dawson, student, to one of Sir Thomas Crombie's bursaries of £9 for two years in place of George McKnight who had likewise left the College.
