The following letters were retained: letters relating to observance of armistice day; apprenticeships in Rosyth dockyard and RAF; accounts; bursary schemes; continuation classes; claim for expenses from Military Authorities for occupation of schools; education of demobilised soldiers; award of leaving certificates for pupils who left school for military service; "mentally defective" pupils; pupils at industrial schools; offer of a trench mortar to Grammar School; transfer of Queens Cross Higher Grade RC School.
