Description"Charter by Alexander, called Ysaac, Son and heir of Ysaac the Clerk, burgess of Abirdeen, in favour of John de Edynhame, burgess of the said Burgh, of an Annual Feu duty of Twenty Shillings Sterling out of a piece of ground which John de Bothvyll held in feu while he lived, of the Lord Abbot of Scone, lying in the Castlegate in the Chekery, between the Land of Walter Etall on the West and the land of Malcolm of Erith on the East; Which feu duty he, the said Alexander called Ysaac, had legally offered for sale, at three Capital Courts of the said Burgh, to his nearest heirs of blood, according to Custom and the approved Law of Burghs, and for which the said John de Edynhame had paid him a certain Sum of Money for the support of his Life. Said Charter is dated at Aberdeen and the seal of the said Burgh affixed, in presence of Robert de Edynhame, Alderman, Roger of Nesbit, Andrew Walterson, Gregory called Spalding, and Alexander called Vryse (Bryce), baillies, and David de Foly, Simon Gilsach, John Spring, Malcolm called Erith, William Davidson, William de Leth and many others.
