| Description | "Act by James VI with advice of his Nobility, Council and Estates, convened at Perth, annulling all former Exemptions granting freedom to any parties from passing upon Assizes, and providing that the Inhabitants of Burghs shall not pass upon Assizes, except for Crimes committed within 4 miles of the Burgh, where they reside.
