| Administrative History | The Community Council was formed in 1977 under the Banff and Buchan District Council, and represented the areas of New Aberdour, Tyrie and Pennan. Its objects were to promoted the wellbeing of the Community in Pennan and district, and secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a Community Centre. |
