Administrative HistoryMost likely candidate for this establishment is St Peter's Orphanage, on Constitution Street (the same site as St Peter's School). Built in 1833, the orphanage housed 17 inmates and 3 members of staff: Eliza Forbes Davis was the matron. The building later became the Shiprow Tavern.
