Description | Robert Leslie was given a promisory note for £1500.00 by Adam and Anderson in return for agreeing to withdraw his opposition to the Bill of the Banff, Macduff and Turriff Junction Railway company (of which Adams and Anderson, advocates, were agents). Robert Leslie also assigned to them a Bond for £1250 and all interest in the Forgue Road.
The copy was made by Sir Alexander Anderson, advocate of Aberdeen for the settlement of the estate of Mrs Barbara Niven or Leslie or Niven in 1873. |
