| Description | Confirmation recorded in the Commissary Court of Aberdeen that Mrs Barbara Niven or Leslie or Niven, relict of the deceased Robert Leslie of Rothie, died at Kinbroon House on 22 May 1873 and that by her Deed of Settlement dated 22 August 1865 recorded in the Sheriff Court 29 May 1873 appointed the following as trustees:-
William Leslie of Warthill, the Reverend Alexander Leslie of Meiklefolla, Robert Niven, farmer of Bruckhills, Auchterless, her brother and Sir Alexander Anderson, advocate in Aberdeen.
Robert Niven is noted as being deceased and the other Executors are duly confirmed as having full power to administer her personal estate and effects. |
