Administrative HistoryTullynessle and Forbes Parish and School Board, Aberdeenshire
This was originally the Parish school of Tullynessle and Forbes and was also known as Tullynessle and Forbes School. It was taken over by the School Board in 1873 and then united with Scotsmill School on Wednesday 20th April 1892. The scholars of both schools met in the old Tullynessle school until the new buildings were opened and occupied on Monday 5th December 1892, and the majority of the School Board attended the opening.
