Administrative History | Broadyards School was built from a legacy left by John Gordon, a labourer who was accidentally killed at work in 1844. It was latterly used as the infant school where children started at the age of five, and after two years, went to Bervie school (see ED/GR6S/K8). From 1919 the school became part of Bervie School until the site closed in 1969. |
