| Description | For each officer gives name, place of birth, physical description, occupation, date of appointment, age, rank, promotions, misconduct and date of leaving. Includes all officers serving in early 1886 (the longest serving of whom was appointed in 1865), and those appointed between May 1886 and 26 November 1892. There are repeat entries for those officers serving in January 1890 on the appointment of J B Mair as Superintendent.
