Administrative History | In 1928 the Education Endowment (Scotland) Act ordered the review and if necessary, reorganisation of Scottish Educational Endowments. Initial proposals for the AET to become a sub-committee of the Town Council were rejected. Discussions between the Town Council, the AET, the Governors of Robert Gordon's College and Technical College , and the College's Former Pupil Assocation resulted in various amendments to the 1909 order: the size of the boards for the College and the AET were reduced, benefactions were amalgamated and bursaries reorganised. |
