Administrative HistoryThe Haremoss estate was originally part of the property of Robert Gordon's College, and was transferred to the AET in 1909 under the terms of the Robert Gordon's Technical College and Aberdeen Endowments Trust Order.

Robert Gordon's Hospital had purchased the properties of Findon and Cookston (which included Haremoss), in the parish of Banchory Devenick, Kincardineshire, in 1737. Findon and Cookston were feued out in lots by the Hospital's Governors c. 1784-1787, but retained Haremoss (and the superiorities of some of the subjects feued).
