| Administrative History | The Marine Hotel was part of the AET's Muchalls estate. When the AET's tenant left in May 1916, a new tenant could not be found and the Trustees resolved to take over the licence and manage the hotel in the interim. A sub committee of management was appointed in March 1916. The Lands and Finance Committee took over this management role in March 1917. A new tenant took over in May 1918, ending the Trust's direct management of the Hotel. |
