TitleAberdeen Harbour Board: Report by the Plans and Works Committee on applications for the role of Superintendent of Harbour Works and Harbour Rails
Description[Document 1] Report on the various applications for the superintendent role received through an advertisement in the newspaper. Notes the subsequently produced a reduced list of preferred candidates. On the list is William Adamson [currently a clerk in the harbour office], George Goldie [?], Charles Grey, John Mclean and John Murray. [Documents 2, 3 & 4] are memoranda to advertise the vacancy of the superintendent position due to the death of the previous occupant. Requests that the advert be in each of the Aberdeen papers. They provide salary guidelines and an age requirement for applicants of at least 40. And finally, that applications close on Wednesday, 16th March
